The Xbox One will NOT require DRM/24-hour Checks

First, I would like to commend ‘Soft for “listening” to fans about their Always Online/Can’t Trade Games bull but secondly I would also like to say that you, Microsoft, are a bitch.

To explain, if you haven’t already learn by now, Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One will not require a 24 hour check AND there will be no DRM pay wall when dealing with used games. Microsoft’s Don Mattrick wrote:

Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One. You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world.

Their Next Gen Offering will also no longer be region locked, allowing you to play any game you want now. There are some things that will happen because of this. For instance, the Xbox One will require a One-Time Patch so it CAN– with out it, it will still act the version it was announced.  Not only that, I am hearing that The Family Plan that would allow one person to buy Xbox Live Gold for the whole “family” (the people who are on your system) has been axed. This is a still a developing story and hopefully I will have all the facts by next recording.

Speaking of recording, we kinda did one here. It’s rather short but still awesome. What are your thoughts on the 180 turn? Sound off in the comments below.
