Oh Square Enix, you know the public so well. On the heels of their announcement of The World Ends With You getting the HD remake for iOS devices, the game company revealed The Final Fantasy 25th anniversary Ultimate box. The box contains all the Final Fantasy console and hand-held console release of a Final Fantasy game for the Sony Platforms. Yes, Platforms.

This is the skinny: Final Fantasy One, Two, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, and Nine will be playable on the PS1 console (or if you have a PS3, you can play them); 10 through 12 are playable on the Ps2 (for which, unless you have an old PS3, you need a PS2 to play) and 13, as you already know, is playable on the Ps3. 13-2 is not included and Final Fantasy 3 is playable on the PSP.

Not only that, the collection comes with a digital earring code for FFXIV, Special anniversary video disc, Crystal ArtWorks — an anniversary visual art collection, A two disc anniversary music selection CD and Mini replica of Amano FF 25th Anniversary visual with stand for the the low, low price of ¥35,000 which is roughly $5,513 USD. So far its only been announced for the Japanese market with no word on the any other region.
