Rumors of a secret Microsoft project hit the net ever since E3 was over with. After their announcement of Xbox Smart Glass — which will allow you to use your smart phone and/or tablet to control your 360 in different ways — the company never explain what tech would be allowed to use their smart glass. Not only that, their upcoming Windows 8 OS seem to be made for tablet use with its squared look (which Mircosoft has already put in place for the 360’s dash and the Windows Phone).
But enough talk. Here are the specs:
The tablet will come in two flavors: Windows RT and Windows 8 Pro.
Windows RT is the light-weight in both what’s on it and in it. This version comes with
9.33 mm thick
10.6″ ClearType HD DIsplay
31.5 Wh battery
microSD, USB 2.0, Micro HD Video
Office Home & Student 2013 RT, Touch Cover, Type Cover
32 GB, 64 GB
Windows 8 Pro is their PC version of the tablet and as such has more heft in it
13.5 mm thick
10.6″ ClearType Full HD Display
42 Wh battery
microSDXC, USB 3.0, Mini DisplayPort Video,
Touch Cover, Type Cover, Pen with Palm Block
64 GB, 128 GB
More than likely, the RT will be a cheaper than the the 8 Pro. As more info of it hits, I will make an edit to this post and talk about more on the new episode of the D Saint Radio Podcast!
