Mortal Kombat: Legacy gets a Blu-Ray (and DVD) release

Do you guys know how hard it is to find any Geek Related news around here? At least good enough to write up a post about it. Very. Anyway, the popular web series, Mortal Kombat: Legacy, is getting the physical format release for both Blu-ray and DVD on November 8th. For anyone who didn’t know about this epic awesomesauce, the seires, which started as a “proof of concept” to make a MK film that was grounded in the real world, followed different fighters such as Johnny Cage, Raiden, Jax, Scorpion and others from the game to give them their back story. The first episode alone, gathered a million views with in a few weeks.

All of the 9 episodes show up on the disc and it includes extras such as behind the sceen stuff, the “proof of concept” trailer I talked about above while the blu ray adds on to that with a multi-chapter doc called “Mortal Kombat Lagacy: Expanding the Netherrelm” as well as gallery and such. More than likely, the blue-ray will run about $19.98 with the DVD about $17.98 if my math is right. If you are a fan of the game or just want some action, check it out.
